Customers are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following conditions. The Organizer shall be known as “The Company” in the conditions below.

deposit is required upon booking, if your deposit is less than the required amount, kindly top up the difference within the next 3 days. Any minor below 21 years old travelling without an accompanying adult must inform The Company upon booking. An adult undertaking may be required.

Payment of deposit does not constitute confirmation of the tour, travel arrangement or air tickets. All groups are subject to a minimum group size in order to depart.

Group tours based on special and/or promotional fares require an amount per the terms and conditions stipulated by the principal suppliers. In the event of incremental airfare, taxes and fuel surcharge imposed by the airlines and relevant authorities, the Company reserves the right to request for a top-up on the initial deposit for immediate issuance of air tickets, to avoid incurring any additional surcharges.

Payment by credit card or charge card may not be applicable for certain promotional tour packages. Payment by installment plan, where applicable, is valid for selected banks and subject to banks’ approval and terms and conditions. In cases of credit card or charge card payments, refunds (if applicable) will be made through credit card or charge card companies.

Full payment is required minimum 15 days before departure. Failure to comply with this may result in cancellation of the reservation and in such an event, the following cancellation charges will apply accordingly. Cancellation of confirmed booking by customer must be made in writing to avoid any misunderstanding and charges shown below apply.

Charges shown above may not apply to certain group tours under special promotion. Under such circumstances, a separate set of terms and conditions will be made known to the customer at the point of booking.

Cancellation fees shown above only apply to tours operated by the Company. For tours or components supplied by third party/parties, e.g. airlines, hotels, overseas land operators, cruises, trains, car rental companies, etc, the terms and conditions on cancellation of the third party/parties shall apply and a handling charge of $50 to $200 by the Company for each tour or component cancelled per person.

For any change(s) in the departure date or tour type, cancellation charges apply as listed under the section on “Payment & Cancellation Charges”.

For every request made, regardless of whether any previous amendments were confirmed by airline, hotel or otherwise, there will be a minimum fee of S$100 per person per amendment, in addition to whatever charges (if any) imposed by the supplier(s). All requests must be made in writing and received by us at least 15 days prior to commencement of tour and prior to issuance of air tickets.

The customer should be aware that The Company is acting as an agent for the service suppliers. After a deposit or full payment is made, all arrangements are subject to confirmation. If the arrangement is unable to be confirmed, The Company will endeavor to notify the customer of the cancellation at least fifteen (15) days in advance for tour of more than 6 days in duration or eight (8) days in advance for tours of 6 days or less, excluding departure date. The Company may, if it so chooses, recommend alternative tours preferably to the same destination; or other tours to the customer, based on the tour fare of that cancellation period; or offer the option for the customer to top up the tour fare in order to materialize the tour. Should the customer decide not to accept the alternatives, all monies paid will be refunded to the customer in full within 2-4 weeks, without further obligation or liability on the part of The Company.

Hotel, land arrangements or cruise bookings are subject to confirmation. Any hotel/land rates differential are to be borne by customer. Promotional air tickets are subject to the airline’s terms and conditions.

Third party land package and cruise package will be subject to the respective contracting parties/operators’ terms and conditions. The above exclude SA Tours’ amendment/cancellation charges.

  • Return economy class group tour air ticket
  • Return airport-hotel- airport transfers. Transportation and sightseeing as specified in the itinerary and coach capacity will be provided according to the number of passengers. Customers who book any land package(s) will be required to make their own arrangements to meet our group at the airport on the first day, including arrival/departure transfers as required.
  • Hotel accommodation on twin-sharing or triple-sharing basis. Please note that a “roll-away” bed may be provided for triple-sharing room. However, for certain destinations that do not offer triple-sharing room, no extra bed is provided and will be based on existing bedding.
  • Meals as specified in the itinerary. Should the selected carrier’s flight schedule does not allow for certain meals to be taken, there will not be any refund for meals not consumed.
  • Baggage allowance varies from 20-30kg & is limited to one piece of check-in bag per person (except travelling to America to check with respective airlines), subject to the respective carrier’s policies.
    • Visa fees
    • Airport taxes, excess baggage charges
    • Where applicable, Customs User Fees, Nordic Environment Tax, Fuel Tax, Port Tax, Service Fees etc.
    • Meals, beverages, room services or any others not listed in itinerary
    • Gratuities to driver, tour guide or tour leader
    • Porter’s fee at the hotel and airport
    • Flight Insurance/Travel Insurance

    Tour prices are based on current airfares, service prices, government taxes and exchange rates, applicable at the time of printing and quotation and are subject to change with or without prior notice. All taxes, flight security levies and fuel surcharges are subject to change without prior notice and any increase/difference in taxes shall be borne by the Customer even after full payment has been made.

Eligibility: Below 12 years (on the date of departure or date of return depending on different airlines)

Child fare is based on sharing a room with two adults. There will be an additional cost for child sharing one room with an adult.

In the event that any accommodation requested or booked is not available, every effort will be made to scout for an alternative accommodation of similar standard. Please note that certain destinations do not offer triple-sharing room, therefore no extra bed is provided and will be based on existing bedding; otherwise a single occupancy supplement may be incurred.

Should there be any request for special meals, dietary requirement, seating arrangement, and adjoining rooms and so on, please inform The Company upon booking. Such requests are subject to availability and confirmation. Special meals requested will be based on local arrangement.

Passport Requirement

It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that his/her international passport has a validity of at least 7 months prior to the date of departure and have at least 4 blank pages side by side. Relevant visas and vaccinations may be required. Cancellation charges apply for cancellation due to non-approval of VISAS or any other reasons as stated above. For Singapore permanent residents, please bring along your valid re-entry permits and other necessary documents such as Blue identity card, etc.

For foreign passport holders, it is the passenger’s responsibility to hold valid re-entry visa/permit and other necessary document such as valid work permit, independent pass, air ticket to the onward destination.

Visa Requirement

The Company will, wherever possible, assist you to obtain the necessary visas. Service charges and visa fees will be borne by the passenger. The Company does not guarantee the approval of the visa application. If for any reason, application for VISA(s) or exit permit(s) is rejected, the passenger will be informed accordingly. However, administrative charges and cancellation charges apply.

Many countries in the world require visas for entry. SA Tours does provide visa application service. However, it is the passenger’s SOLE responsibility to ensure that he/she has a valid visa for travel to countries that require it, regardless of whether SA Tours was engaged to apply for the VISAS. Please check with SA Tours at least ONE month before the intended trip to ensure that the visa requirement is fulfilled. SA Tours will not be responsible for any passenger who is denied boarding a flight due to visa problems. Passengers are SOLELY responsible for ensuring that they have all their valid travel documents. (Passports, Visas etc.) However, cancellation and administrative charges apply.

For the convenience of all members of the group, passengers are requested to rotate their seating arrangements on the coach during the period of the tour. Please cooperate when requested upon to do so by the tour leader/guide.

Purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended upon the booking of any travel arrangement for the coverage of unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation, personal baggage loss, personal accident, injury, illness, etc. Under no circumstances is The Company to be construed as a carrier under contract for safe carriage of any passenger or his/her baggage & belongings. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage in relation to trip cancellation, loss of personal baggage, accidents, injuries or illnesses.

Extension of stay/deviation may be permitted at the end of the tour, subject to the restrictions of the air ticket, seat availability and hotel confirmation prior to commencement of the tour. All requests must be made before issuance of air tickets. It is the passenger’s responsibility to hold firm confirmation of their return flight. If the extension of stay/deviation is unable to be confirmed three weeks before the group’s departure date, the passenger is required to adhere to the original tour schedule. In the event that the original schedule has been changed by the Company, any extra costs will be borne by the passenger.

Extension of stay/deviation will be at the passenger’s own expense and transfer to the airport will not be provided.

The air ticket issued is restricted to a specific airline only. It is non-endorsable, non-refundable & non-reroutable. Any alteration in routing or dates by the passenger is solely at his/her own risk. The Company and its associated agents will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused and extra expenses incurred. No refunds will be made for any unused air ticket(s), accommodation, meals, or sightseeing in part or full.

The Company and its associate act only as an agent for the transportation companies, hotels & other principals for the tour programme. They will not accept any responsibility for injuries, damages, accidents, losses, delays, theft, quarantine, customs regulations, strikes, weather hazards, political unrest, changes in itineraries, deportation or refusal of entry by the Immigration Authorities resulting from improper travel documents, possession of unlawful items or irregularities that may be caused to person or property. Any losses and/or expenses incurred are to be borne by the passenger. All proper travel documentation is the sole responsibility of the passenger. Passengers must safeguard their own belongings at all times and not leave any valuables on tour coaches, hotels, etc.

The Company reserves the right to alter the tour itineraries, travel arrangements and/or make necessary changes to the hotel reservations due to unforeseen changes in transportations, conditions in the countries of travel or transit according to the tour itinerary or upon the occurrence of a force majeure event. Such alteration may be made as deemed appropriate by the Company with or without prior notice to the passenger. The Company reserves the right to specify the language(s) in which the tour guide will use to conduct the commentary during the tour. For the Asia sector, Mandarin will be the primary language; bilingual guides are subjected to early request and confirmation. Tour groups on different flight schedules may be merged without prior notice.

If it is necessary, The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the date of departure for any reasons, including insufficient number of participants. Should this happen, the entire payment shall be refunded without further obligations on the part of The Company. The Company will recommend alternative tours, preferably to the same destination or to other destinations. Should the passenger decide not to accept the alternatives, The Company shall refund previous payments made in full without further obligations.

The Company also reserves the right to require any withdrawal of the passenger from the tour if his/her act of conduct is deemed detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, harmony & welfare of other passengers and the tour as a whole. The Company shall be under no further liability thereafter to any such person. No tour leaders/guides or other employees or agents of The Company are authorized to commit The Company to any liability whatsoever and The Company will not be bound by any statement or representation unless in writing and signed by a management executive of The Company.

Should there be an event of any discrepancies, prices at our retail counters will be taken as the final rate.

The Company is a GST-registered organisation. GST is chargeable at the standard rate on local supplies of goods and services. However, GST is zero rated on International Services (Overseas) of goods and services.

Any complaint/claim must be made in writing within 2 weeks after The Company’s services have been rendered. No responsibility is accepted in respect of any complaint/claim, which is not made so.
